Steve Kaufer, CPP has over 30 years experience as a security consultant, designer and manager of large-scale projects. He has provided security management services at

multi-occupancy building, retail, financial institutions, educational institutions, governmental buildings, high profile residential and industrial facilities.He specializes in organizations with multiple and diverse facilities. Mr. Kaufer is in a select group of professionals who have been designated as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) by ASIS International, the largest professional security association in the world.  He is a member of the International Association of Professional Security Consutlants, served as its president from 1999 to 2001, and currently serves on its Board of Directors.

EXPERIENCE:

In 1974 Steve Kaufer formed a full service security alarm and central station company which grew to become one fo the largest independent companies in Southern California prior to its sale in 1989. As a company president, he established a reputation for innovative design and engineering of a diversity of protection systems and programs.

In 1989, he established Inter/Action Associates, Inc. to provide security consulting services. In addition to consulting work, Steve Kaufer has appeared before many security industry audiences, including the International Security Conference.
