Ronald Heil, CPP has over 21 years of Homeland Security related experience in the public and private sectors. He is Board Certified in Security Management and has been designated a Certified Protection Professional (CPP). He has direct responsibility for Homeland Security program analysis and development, standards, specifications, and project management. Previous to his engagement with SecuraComm, he served as an Air Force Officer in the Security Forces managing complex nuclear security compliance, antiterrorism, vulnerability assessment, disaster incident response, force protection, physical security, asset protection, information/technology protection, and law enforcement programs.

EXPERIENCE:
Mr. Heil has conducted numerous Vulnerability and Risk Assessments across the county and internationally for The Department of Defense, Department of State, chemical industry, municipalities, US Marshall’s Service, and utilities using RAM, CCPS, and standards-based methodologies as well as Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design concepts. He developed Terrorism and Response to Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) Annexes for municipal Emergency Operations Plans, a ‘fill-in-the-blank” Terrorism and WMD Annex Template, and an Antiterrorism Self-Assessment Questionnaire for municipalities. Further, he has authored Security, Preparedness, and Disaster Response Plans for municipalities that are designed for prevention as well as guiding municipal response actions for both natural and man-made disasters. Mr. Heil has developed security standards and policies for the chemical industry at the corporate and plant level, US Air Force at the installation and Headquarters level, waterfront facilities, and municipalities. Having directed a force of up to 400 security and law enforcement personnel, Mr. Heil has evaluated Guard Force performance for major hospital systems, chemical manufacturing, and municipal authorities. He has developed guard force standards and assisted clients with selecting an appropriate guard force contractor.
